This intensive 3-day workshop will build on the processes introduced in Natural Dye Printing I. This workshop addresses the use of mordant dyes and further explores the relationship between dyes and mordants. Various methods for preparing fabrics with mordants will be examined. Technical and creative experimentation with mordant printing, discharge and resist, colour modifiers and lake pigments will be explored through sampling on cloth with stencils, blocks and screens.

Tuition: $325.00 + $50.00 materials fee +HST(includes dyes, fabrics and auxiliaries)
